Balmain inspired

I have been in love with the military inspired collection by relaunched label Balmain, particularly the big shoulders that have become a big part of my wadrobe. This little dress from H&M in combination with the Topshop necklace enabled me to create a little bit of Balmain magic for a small price.

Asos sequined top

I got this on sale and i think its a great way of wearing sequins when it is slightly more chilly! the leggings are velvet from American apparel, a great buy as they are incredibly warm but also help dress up a simple t-shirt.

Russian ballerina

Somehow the combinition of sequined puffy dress in a beautiful soft colour and fake fur headband always makes me feel like Russian ballerina.

Easy like sunday morning

This is one of my more casual "Sunday sitting around at home" or "Monday morning cant be bothered" outfits, nonetheless it is a beautiful t-shirt dress, in particular the strong orange tones and immediately cheers me up on a rainy day. the scarf is from the Matthew Williamson for H&M collection and always provides me with an easy way out on one of those dreaded bad hair days.

Galactic fantastic

this dress has to be one of my favourite. found in my local topshop in the "buy now or regret later" section it was like a sign from god ,there in all its beauty AND in my size! its from the topshop boutique range, their sort of haute couture collection that is shown at London fashion week and has some amazing on trend pieces made out of beautiful material. this particular dress is 100% silk and hand-printed and yes it was rather more pricey than the usual topshop frock (£120 ) but i think it was sooo worth it! in this case it is not only a dress, an acquaintance of mine but also a piece of art.

sorry for my long absence, have been for the past 2 weeks in germany visiting my grandad and have got heaps of new clothes! i hope everyone had good holidays and like me is looking foward to finding out what trends we will be following next year ( or of course will laugh at!)
